ROBERT MAY, President
Bob joined Premier Polymers in 2014. He has more than 30 years of senior commercial leadership experience in plastics, marketing, product management, strategic planning, business development, and operations roles with companies such as America Cyanamid, Portion Packaging, Campbell Soup, Dow Chemical Company and BP. He holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Drexel University and an M.B.A. from the University of Michigan. Bob and his wife live in the Houston area, and is a die-hard Red Sox, Celtics, and New York Giants fan.

DAVID J. REID, Commercial Director, Flexibles
David joined Premier Polymers in 2010 as commercial director. A 20-year veteran of the plastics distribution business, he began his career marketing and selling polyethylene, polypropylene, polystyrene and engineering materials, and was later promoted to sales and product management roles. David has a strong background in product development, sales and marketing, business management and procurement. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of California. David lives with his wife and two children in the Houston area. He enjoys sports, fishing and hunting, and anything involving his kids.

DON MARTONE, Commercial Director, Rigids
Prior to joining Premier Polymers, Don worked for DuPont Canada in a variety of roles, and most recently, NOVA Chemicals, managing their Polyethylene product slate and leading their asset optimization efforts. Don has more than 25 years of senior level technical, sales, commercial management and business development experience in Polyolefins. He holds a B.C.E (Chemical Engineering) and Management degree from McMaster University, and an M.B.A. in Venture Development from the University of Calgary. A member of the Business Leadership Team in Houston, Don manages Premier’s Rigids Products marketing and sourcing strategies and supplier relationships. He lives in Houston, TX with his wife, and enjoys traveling, golf and playing guitar.

TODD MAPLES, Director, Commodity Plastics Trading
Todd joined Premier Polymers in October 2015. He is the Director of Commodity Plastics Trading, managing spot prime, wide specification and recycle product lines in the US and Canada. He is an industry veteran, with more than 20 years of experience in plastics operations, resin distribution, sales and marketing, and management roles at NOVA Chemicals. Todd is a native Texan and a graduate of Texas A&M University. He lives in Houston, TX with his wife and daughter, and enjoys traveling and playing golf.

MELWANI KWAN, Customer Service & Supply Chain Manager
A graduate of the University of Oklahoma, Melwani began her career at Vinmar International in 2010. Armed with an MBA in Supply Chain Management, Melwani was involved in the Latin America logistics group, the Biofuels department and the Import group during her time at Vinmar. She currently leads the supply chain and the customer service team at Premier, which is responsible for the fulfillment of millions of pounds of plastic resins ordered by customers. She also monitors and coordinates supply-chain vendors to ensure efficient resource utilization. Melwani, her husband and their delightful daughter live in the Houston area, and enjoy eating out and traveling during their free time.

Mark L. Stokes, Sales Director
Mark joined Premier Polymers in 2016 as Sales Director. He has 30 years of experience in the plastics industry in senior leadership and executive management roles. Before joining Premier, Mark served as Vice President of Citadel Plastics Holdings. Prior to that, he was Business Director for Daikin America’s Fluoropolymers business. His career also includes commercial management roles with General Electric Plastics and Dow Chemical. Mark holds a B.S. from Ball State University College of Business and completed the Executive Management certificate program at Emory University Goizueta College of Business. Mark and his wife live in the Atlanta area with their two daughters, and enjoy playing golf, serving on boards and volunteering for a variety of charitable organizations.

Tim Pope Manager, Technical and Commercial Development
Tim joined Premier Polymers in 2015 as the new Technical and Commercial Development Manager. Prior to Premier Polymers, Tim worked for 24 years at The Dow Chemical Company and Trinseo, where he led Technical Service and product development teams across a wide variety of market segments. Tim’s experience working with global CPG brand owners, converters and packaging equipment OEMs, product families, olefins, engineering plastics and laminating adhesives has positioned him to enhance our customers’ growth initiatives. Tim holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University. He lives in the Houston area with his wife and four children, and relishes supporting their innumerable activities.
